Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to {{plural:1|one external link|1 external links}} on Charles J. Watters. Please take a moment to review [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=710785085 my edit]. If necessary, add {{tlx|cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{tlx|nobots|deny{{=}}InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20051108025634/http://academic.shu.edu:80/rotc/hof/wattersbio.htm to http://academic.shu.edu/rotc/hof/wattersbio.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{tlx|Sourcecheck}}).

Major Watters death
Charles died when he was shielding a wounded soldier from a 500 pound HE bomb dropped by error from a US Marine jet. He was covering the man from shrapnel when 20' directly above him the proximity fuse detonated the bomb. There wasnt very much left for them to put in the ground. 2600:1700:E881:4550:55F7:F176:8265:6E8C (talk) 18:38, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
