Add the following at the end of the "Post-gubernatorial career" section:
In May 2024, Christie joined the Washington Speakers Bureau as an exclusive speaker. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/washington-speakers-bureau-welcomes-a-voice-of-unity-for-divisive-times-former-governor-chris-christie-joins-its-renowned-roster-of-leaders-302143848.html Rebelcause (talk) 02:41, 2 August 2024 (UTC)

File:Red information icon with gradient background.svg Not done: I don't think this necessarily rises to the level of notability, particularly on the basis of a single press release. PianoDan (talk) 17:09, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

I recommend adding Chris Christie's remarks about Dan Campbell somewhere in the article (whichever section the remarks is suited for):
On October 17, 2024, following a National Football League game between the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions in which the Lions won 47-9, Christie, who is a Cowboys fan, criticized Lions head coach Dan Campbell for running up the score during the game, stating that Campbell has "no class, never has".https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2024/10/18/chris-christie-dan-campbell-lions-cowboys-nfl/75734324007/ Following the remarks, Campbell responded by stating "The last time somebody called me classless, I was drinking wine out of a bottle".https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/nfl/lions/2024/10/21/lions-dan-campbell-has-hilarious-response-to-getting-called-classless-by-chris-christie/75781221007/ Additionally, Christie received backlash for his remarks on X, formerly known as Twitter.https://athlonsports.com/nfl/chris-christie-facing-backlash-dan-campbell-lions-cowboys-comments

:{{not done}}: This falls afoul of WP:RECENTISM in that it's a minor kerfuffle that received a brief spotlight but is not a big controversy and does not warrant a mention in his article. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 19:32, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
