Big Bang as a Creation Myth

The Big Bang narrative is for sure a Creation Myth, since it's a folk symbolic/metaphoric narrative of a scientific hypothesis.

:Two of those are the same as each other with uncertain reliability, one is a file-sharing site with no provenance of content, one uses term myth to mean a misconcception but it's talking about whether the Big Bang was really the beginning of everything. Suggested name alteration to "Creation narrative"

I feel that this article would be more objective if the name was changed to "Creation narrative", as this would be more objective than "Creation myth", a title which unobjectively paints the subject matter as being definitively a myth. Joieman (talk) 15:45, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

You can set up a WP:RM discussion and make the case based on that guideline why "creation narrative" should be used instead of "creation myth". For example, a look at Google Scholar shows since 2020 that "creation myth" has 6,130 results [https://scholar.google.com/scholar?as_ylo=2020&q=%22creation+myth%22+creation+myth&hl=en&as_sdt=0,47 here] where "creation narrative" has 3,120 results [https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C47&as_ylo=2020&q=%22creation+narrative+%22+creation+narrative&btnG= here].
