what is "cultural heritage"?

article says (and citation supports) that "Over 90 to 95% of Africa's cultural heritage is held outside of Africa by large museums." and what the article means is that tons and tons of african objects were illegitimately stolen and are held by large museums. but obviously africa still exists and is creating cultural heritage every day! So, what is actually meant by "cultural heritage" in this context? Because what it says isn't what it means. 173.222.1.155 (talk) 23:00, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
