District

According to census 2001 data, Devprayag lies both in Tehri Garhwal district and Pauri Garhwal district. Census data refers to Pauri Garhwal as simply Garhwal. Here is the entry:

[http://210.212.78.56/50cities/devprayag/english/bi_fastfacts.asp Devprayag official website mentions Pauri district] and also [http://pauri.nic.in/Maps_Pauri.htm Map of Pauri district] Collectively they make for it being in Pauri, though the across the river might be part of Tehri as [http://tehri.nic.in/tehrimap.htm tehri district map] mentions Devprayag as a block HQ, which is possible too...:D--Ekabhishek (talk) 18:10, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
