Please lets discuss these points on the current Druze article versus my suggested changes :

The Druze faith is an esoteric monotheistic religion based on the teachings of several Ismaili figures like Hamza ibn-'Ali ibn-Ahmad and Al-Muqtana Baha'uddin who were influenced by Greek philosophers such as Plato ,Aristotle and Plotinus.

The Druze faith is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion based on the teachings of high Islamic figures like Hamza ibn-'Ali ibn-Ahmad and Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah, and Greek philosophers such as Plato and Aristotle.

Reason for Edit :

- The main distiction about the Druze faith is being esoteric Batini this should be mentioned

- Druze are not an Abrahamic religion but monotheist , the position of Abraham is different for the Druze than the three abrahamic faiths

- high Islamic figures is not accurate , the prophet mohammad is a high islamic figure , Hamza was a preacher , Al-Hakim was the Fatimid Caliph , a more historically accurate and appropriate description is Ismaili

::I did no realize the religion template back then. Well, my version is far more clear and better for readability. The current one has mass citations and six paragraphs whereas my one has no unnecessary citations in the lede, moving unneeded citations to the body per MOS:LEADCITE and max four paragraphs in-line with WP:PARAGRAPH. This is not true. There is no law that states this. This came from a CBC article and like most inteviews with Druze, they give thier opinion. Thier opinion is more of a familial and community expectation, less of a hard rule. This reporter got it wrong.

Generally, in the past any marriage to a non Druze is looked down upon. You it was breaking tradition and often ended up with community scorn.

But this does not unmake you as a Druze as the person did not renounce thier faith. Most importantly,they did not convert. Conversion to another religion is definitely one of the only ways you can "Un-Druze" yourself.

Druze believe the reicanation is patrilineal. So if your father is a Druze, you are Druze. Your Spirit is Druze.

Now lets talk about the last 40 years.

Due to cousin marraige (yes my grandparents were second cousins and maybe first. Dont want to ask), they have stopped looking down on marrying outside as much especially if your a man.

Waleed Jumblatts son is married to a muslim.

This is incorrect and should be changed.

Because the populations of Druze are self identification, if you looked at the populations given, you would find many less people with Two Druze parents ESPECIALLY in Venezuela, the States and Canada. This symbol is missing from the flags section of emoji, so many druze use the Seychelles flag 🇸🇨 in their bio at social media. The two flags show same 5 colors
