I've trawled the internet and this appears to be the only one. I think its from a photo taken in prison with Patrick Maher, hence the poor quality of both headshots. If a better image is out there I reckon it'll be in Tim Carey's book - the point to which we seem to always return :) ANB (talk) 00:32, 4 November 2008 (UTC)

I've been going through Tim Carey's book on the Forgotten Ten with a view to unearthing some of the missing DOBs for the Ten. He gives Foley's year of birth as 1895. This is also the date given by the National Graves Association pamphlet on the Ten published in 2001. However, the Mountjoy Prison register of deaths (reproduced on the cover of Carey's book) gives his age at death at 23, which confirms the 1897 date we currently have. Any thoughts (other sources etc.) on how this descrepancy might be ironed out? ANB (talk) 20:02, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Seeing 1896 isn't attested in any of the sources, 1897 seems overwhelmingly likely. ANB (talk) 12:55, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
