Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware

Shouldn't this article include the state across the river from DC, or the state that the other half of the peninsula belongs to? -- 65.92.181.190 (talk) 05:11, 3 November 2012 (UTC)

:Those were going to get their own articles once the size grew too much on the now-protected main page. CrazyC83 (talk) 02:54, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

::I'm surprised WV doesn't have more info, considering that blizzard... the press seems to be ignoring it. And considering Arlington/etc is usually part of DC news, then Virginia should be covered as well. Of course Delaware shares half the peninsula that's being covered here. -- 65.92.181.190 (talk) 07:34, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Merge

I know that the Sandy article is over 9,000 words, but come on, this article has literally nothing and could easily fit. Besides, if we ever do an article on the snowy side of Sandy, it would be easier if this was merge so we could focus more on the snowstorm in western Maryland. 2600:387:F:7F10:0:0:0:3 (talk) 18:08, 16 April 2025 (UTC)

:Weak support, although Sandy did affect those areas, the worst of Sandy was in New Jersey, and the damage there seems to have gotten the most coverage. The damage in Maryland and DC doesn't have as much coverage, but still somewhat notable. StormHunterBryante5467⛈️ 21:24, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

  • Oppose unless Sandy gets cut down more. I agree the article could get merged easily, but not when there's still so much info about Sandy's met history and impacts in NJ/NY. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:59, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
  • Oppose main article is nearly 214k bytes, merging will overwhelm it. --A1Cafel (talk) 05:15, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
  • :Please review WP:SIZERULE. Word count should be used, kbytes size is not relevant. Itzcuauhtli11 (talk) 20:42, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

:Strong Oppose The word count is too high, the article needs a trimming already, not a merge. 210.3.50.94 (talk) 00:46, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
