apparently the ERDAS about-the-company page got deleted, leaving red ink behind on a number of wiki pages. 122.57.228.152 (talk) 04:16, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
:That article has never existed. If it did, there would be a pink rectangle stating when it was deleted, when you access the redlink. 70.24.251.208 (talk) 04:25, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

The result of the proposal was not moved. Per below, there is no substantiation for the claim that Erdas is an acronym. As for imagine, we "follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules, even if the trademark owner considers nonstandard formatting 'official'".--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:56, 21 May 2012 (UTC)

Erdas Imagine → {{no redirect|1=ERDAS IMAGINE}} – ERDAS is an acronym, and should thus be capitalized. IMAGINE is also capitalized as a product name. See [http://www.erdas.com/products/ERDASIMAGINE/ERDASIMAGINE/Details.aspx http://www.erdas.com/products/ERDASIMAGINE/ERDASIMAGINE/Details.aspx] and [http://www.acronymia.com/ERDAS http://www.acronymia.com/ERDAS] Keith134 (talk) 19:40, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose you haven't proven that "IMAGINE" is an acryonym or that acronymia.com's ERDAS is the same as the ERDAS at erdas.com ; Further MOS:CAPS and MOS:TM -- why should we capitalize a nonacronym like IMAGINE? 70.24.251.208 (talk) 04:24, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose. Per our guidelines listed on Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Trademarks, we should follow standard English text formatting and capitalization rules, regardless of the preference of company or the trademark owners. In addition, I also do not see anything on that web site that explicitly says that it is an acronym. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:28, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
