:We can all Google news sources as easily as anyone. Which ones of those actually provide significant coverage about the Eric Kessler in this article? ~Anachronist (talk) 20:30, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

:they all do because I read them 69.181.17.113 (talk) 02:08, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

::So did I, and no they don't. You haven't answered the question. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:01, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

:Going to note that "https://capitalresearch.org/article/excavating-arabellas-origin-part-3/" (#5), while it provides some information, appears to be a hardcore libertarian organization that invites people from the Heritage Foundation for talks. "https://www.wccsradio.com/rss/dc-attorney-general-targets-conservative-judicial-activist-leonard-leos-network-politically-driven/" (#1) is a 404 not even mentioned on the internet archive. #2,#3,#4 appear to be about related topics. #7 (Source Watch) is a wiki that exclusively quotes a non-independent source. #8 (InfluenceWatch) is a better-formatted wiki that appears to be written by the aforementioned hardcore libertarian Capital Research. Then there is a HuffPost article author bio (#9), a team member bio by The Global Fight (#10), a past board member bio (#11), a tiny autogenerated investment profile (#12), an org bio (#13), literally a pdf on InfluenceWatch of #6 (see below), and an internet archive of #6 (see below).

:The only possible sources here are the Capital Research article, and the interview by Worth Magazine (#6) ("https://worth.com/contributor/be-the-change/") The first is questionable; the second is clearly a significant reliable source, but given 2 of them are just duplicates I'm pretty sure this person did not read all 13 of these sources. :These appear to be: 2 old news articles from 1990, a library index that no one here can access, two trivial mentions related to environmentalism, another trivial mention where he received a campus award, and another trivial mention related to an event announcement. :Many of those provide only trivial mentions and/or aren't even about this article subject. Anyone can get a dump of links from a web search. That is meaningless. Please identify which sources actually provide significant coverage of the Eric Kessler in this article. ~Anachronist (talk) 20:35, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

::they all do because I read them 69.181.17.113 (talk) 02:09, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

:::No, you didn't read them, else you wouldn't have listed trivial mentions. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:02, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

:"New Venture Fund is led by a board of directors that includes President Eric Kessler, a former national field director for the League of Conservation Voters and White House appointee who helped manage conservation issues during the Clinton administration. Kessler owns a few popular D.C. restaurants, including G, Graffiato and Kapnos. Other staffers and board members have been affiliated with the conservation group ecoAmerica." (https://www.eenews.net/articles/dem-strategist-takes-on-oil-industry-despite-the-odds/) may be possibly him, but it's barely beyond a trivial mention. I did not think he was a restaurant owner. I assume the numerous other restaurant sources are based on the idea that this is him, so they would be useful if it was him.

:Other than that the only thing I could find that could possibly be useful was an event listing, which I did not read in its entirety but likely would not be a good source anyways. Mrfoogles (talk) 08:22, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
