The link to the announcement of the founders death does not work anymore, 404 error. Removed it. Grcaldwell (talk) 11:48, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
What now?
What should I do now to the redirect? Propose deletion? Keep it? Delete the article? You decide. Web+TV+3=WebTV3! (talk) 00:57, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
:I think perhaps you ought to leave deletion processes alone for the time being. You do not appear to have grasped their proper application. --Several Pending (talk) 05:57, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
:In cases of large mergers like the Pilot/Flying J merger, there needs to be pages for the companies and brands that ceased to exist from the merger so that people can understand the merger. The primary problem with this page is that it is about a relatively small holding company created by the merger and not about the brand that existed before the merger. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yintercept (talk • contribs) 19:23, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Plane Crash
That the founder of Flying J died in a plane crash seems pertinent to this story. Considering that (according to the Deseret News) Flying J was the second largest firm in Utah at the time of the crash, it seems to me that there should be a biography page for O. Jay Call, but I don't know enough about the company or family to write it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yintercept (talk • contribs) 19:14, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to {{plural:1|one external link|1 external links}} on FJ Management. Please take a moment to review [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=704824627 my edit]. If necessary, add {{tlx|cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{tlx|nobots|deny{{=}}InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20080625111144/http://www.flyingj.com/company/press/SFJ_press_release.pdf to http://www.flyingj.com/company/press/SFJ_press_release.pdf

Merger proposal
I propose merging Maverik, Inc. into FJ Management. Maverik, Inc. Sources I can find with a web search for Maverick do not satisfy WP:CORPDEPTH, being regular company announcements for regular company activities, not sustained coverage in independent reliable sources. -Lopifalko (talk) 05:45, 29 May 2019 (UTC)
