Robert Fripp acoustic

Didn't Robert Fripp play an acoustic guitar on the acoustic version of "Eyes wide open" on the "Happy to be happy with" EP? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.219.101.183 (talk) 06:06, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

Notoriety, Sid Smith's book as a source, 2017 tour

Sid Smith's book has more context on the evolution and recording of this song- it's not at hand at the moment but I can look into it.

It is also now notable as yet another pre-1975 piece that was never played live until the current incarnation of the band. The 2017 tour was its live debut.

I'm a little vague on the notoriety thresholds but this might help decide one way or the other. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ixat totep (talkcontribs) 19:07, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

The exact sentence {{tq|The song began as part of an extended instrumental improvisatory piece performed by the original 1972-74 line-up with Jamie Muir and David Cross. }} is from [http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=10551 this copyrighted songfacts article]. It was introduced at [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fallen_Angel_(King_Crimson_song)&oldid=155609010 this revision]. Rosguilltalk 04:32, 7 September 2018 (UTC)

:{{Ping|Rosguill}} The revision of our article that introduced that paragraph appeared on September 4, 2007. The earliest evidence I can find for Songfacts containing that is [https://web.archive.org/web/20080415000000*/http://www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=10551 June 19, 2008], almost a year later. I believe Songfacts copied it from us. Do you have reason to believe Songfacts was there first? ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 20:37, 8 September 2018 (UTC)

::Hm, I thought I had checked the dates but it appears you're correct. Sorry for the trouble. Rosguilltalk 01:27, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
