Redox or
This [http://electrochem.cwru.edu/ed/dict.htm#f04] defines faradaic current as "The current (or current density) that is flowing through an electrochemical cell and is causing (or is caused by) chemical reactions (charge transfer) occurring at the electrode surfaces." rather than a mere redox reaction.
