Really needs expansion
This article really needs expansion. Spherical k-means is great but if it's the only method that's given any depth, well the article is not going to give the reader a broad perspective. I'll add a short mention of dictionary learning, but we could really do with more, e.g. from neural networks people.--mcld (talk) 15:08, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
:Be my guest. The reason for the emphasis on clustering is that it's a very simple method, yet one that you don't find in ML textbooks. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 09:23, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
Embedding / representation / feature learning for text
Lately, a lot of research has been done in the area of text representation learning. Models such as GPT produce very interesting results.
Surveys bellow show the state of research in that area:

Would this be fitting in here?
I could not find a Wikipedia article about text representation, and this article seems like the best option.

Should this be called Representation Learning
It seems like this is the more prevalent name for this.
