{{dyktalk|9 September|2006|entry=...that a feature story is an article in a newspaper, a magazine, or a news website that is not meant to report breaking news, but rather to take an in-depth look at the background events, persons or circumstances behind a news story?}}

“Feature” or “featured”
If you look at the left navigation on this page of wikipedia, there's a "Featured content" section. Are they the same thing or are they not? If so, shall we call it featured story? Thanks, HK.Tang — Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.123.154.51 (talk) 02:30, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
What?
I'm not very clear on what happened to this article. Some help cleaning it up so I can actually decipher what's going on? 137.99.32.223 (talk) 03:01, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
Regarding this edit http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Feature_story&curid=6866893&diff=459620860&oldid=459620726
I have reverted this addition a third time. I am sure it is an attempt to make a genuine contribution to the encyclopaedia but unfortunately it smacks far too much of a personal opinion. To be an acceptable part of the article, it needs to cite some sources for the points it makes - journalism textbooks, for example. See WP:VERIFY for information on the reasons for this; WP:CITE for information on how to cite sources; and WP:NOTESSAY. Thanks. Barnabypage (talk) 13:03, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Adding new sections?
Thinking of adding additional paragraphs to the article that support the structuring of a Feature Story. Ideas include: "Transforming Ideas into Features" and "Obtaining Reliable Resources." These sections would contribute to the direction and purpose of writing a feature effectively. I have accumulated some reliable and relevant sources to support these potential sections.
