Missing section on "First wave feminism"

There is a gap between "early 1900s" and "Second wave (1970sā€“1980s)" that omits people like de Beauvoir. There should be a section on "First wave". I am not knowledgeable about it, but the gap is obvious. Zaslav (talk) 23:36, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

Opening line

Having read various parts of this article the opening line of "feminist views on transgender topics vary widely" seems to be providing WP: FALSEBALANCE to this article. This is because the main article seems to provide the viewpoint that for most countries the vast majority of feminists and feminist organisations seem to be very supportive of trans people and transgender rights. : I don't agree. If someone said, "the income of Americans varies widely", I would take that as a true, and unsurprising statement. It just means some people are very poor and some are very rich. It doesn't say anything about income distribution. If they followed that up with, "the fifty richest Americans are as wealthy as the poorest 165 million",[[https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-10-08/top-50-richest-people-in-the-us-are-worth-as-much-as-poorest-165-million 1]] that wouldn't surprise me, either; income is not spread evenly among the populace. And neither are the opinions of feminists on trans topics. That said, if you find the opening line misleading (which I don't) and you wanted to add something like, "... but tends to be supportive", or "... but is supported by the majority", or "... but has overwhelming support", I would have no objection, as long as whatever you add is supported by a more detailed treatment in the body of the article, and is well sourced.
