Florida is dying?
Not sure we can use this directly, but looks useful.[https://www.ruminato.com/p/florida-is-dying?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email&utm_content=share] Doug Weller talk 15:25, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
:As sympathetic as I am to his viewpoint, it is an opinion piece. One point that bothers me is the fuss he makes over that 101 F temperature reported from Manatee Bay in Dade County last year. Manatee Bay has so little connection to open sea water that its measured salinity ranges from 14 ppt to 45 ppt. Yes, water temperatures have been rising. But Manatee Bay is not representative of open sea water. Donald Albury 17:18, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
::True. I agree in itself it’s useless. Maybe useful for finding good sources? I was going to post this to you but of course you’d have this on your watchlist. Doug Weller talk 18:20, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

{{not done}}:Sure was. Sadly, I don't think you're going to find a preponderance of reliable sources to support the edit. PianoDan (talk) 19:23, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
