Why is conquest instead of pestilence

Cretan origin to Nerva-Antonine dynasty?

The section on the White Horse seems to imply the Five Good Emperors or some of them were of Cretan origin, and cites a book I can’t get hold of. The link via archery is also weak - archers were common motif throughout the Graeco-Roman world. What is this about? Nothing I can find refers to any of them having Cretan ancestry.
