French

In the infobox his nationality is "French, Spanish". We know he was born in Spain to a Spanish family and he is often described as "French", having worked there for many years. But nationality refers to his legal status and I doubt he has acquired French citizenship. There's a citation to famille chrétienne now in place, but I can't access all of it. Can someone can access it and add the field "quote=" to the citation with the text that confirms his French citizenship? Or confirm that he's just casually described as French and we shouldn't be saying he's a French citizen? Thanks. Rutsq (talk) 22:04, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

Requested move 6 May 2025

{{requested move/dated|François Bustillo}}

:François-Xavier Bustillo → {{no redirect|François Bustillo}} – The lede and many cited sources indicate that this is both the common and preferred name of this cardinal. The middle name is superfluous in the title. Killuminator (talk) 21:00, 6 May 2025 (UTC)

  • Support per nomination, per Rutsq and per WP:COMMONNAME. Under section header "Notes", note a. states, "He has used this shortened form of his name for all his published books." —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 21:34, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
