Recent theories

Here's an interesting new theory, suggesting this wasn't a suicide but a medical emergency: https://avherald.com/h?article=483a5651/0164&opt=0

This is not from a random blog, but from the editor of The Aviation Herald, which is generally highly regarded. Let's see whether this gets picked up by other WP:RS. — The Anome (talk) 16:10, 14 March 2025 (UTC)

:There are indeed some very cogent points in that piece, some of which relate to apparent failures in the investigation. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:30, 14 March 2025 (UTC)

:The alleged FCU glitch should be verifiable. If it is confirmed, a reassessment by aviation safety bodies seems mandated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Narkittos (talkcontribs) 17:36, 14 March 2025 (UTC)

''10th Anniversary'' section includes speculative theories unrelated to the anniversary

I wonder what the long essay ("Before the 10th anniversary … with such conspiracy theories.") about new theories has to do with the 10th anniversary of the tragedy and memorial services. I suggest that new theories and investigations get their own section outside of 10th anniversary. -- David Spalding (  ) 21:37, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

:Quite agree. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:40, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

Added a "Speculative theories" section to "Aftermath". I note the whole section under Tenth Anniversary (which I've retitled to be consistent with Second Anniversary) was added anonymously. -- David Spalding (  ) 16:06, 26 March 2025 (UTC)!
