"Original Members"

Is it necessary to note that upon the death of Dave there are no founding members or artists remaining multiple times in the article? This minimizes the contribution of members that have given their lives to the band such as Derks, Roberts, Gorman, Maguire, Drakulich, Bishop and even Orr. :It minimizes nothing no matter how many times you bring it up. It’s simply a factual statement stating that none of the founding members currently perform in the band. It’s common for band articles with no original members to note this. See Napalm Death, Sepultura, Quiet Riot, Four Tops, Yes, Foreigner, Molly Hatchet, and Lynyrd Skynyrd for examples of band articles that point out bands operating without any original members, despite how long remaining members have been active in each band. As far as it appearing multiple times within the article, that’s standard as well. The lead is meant to be a summary of information included within the article itself. This is the reason it’s mentioned twice. NJZombie (talk) 15:44, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
