Goring's orders
The section on Goring's order to ram or get courtmartialled seems weird - I can't find any references to it that don't appear to come back to this article. It seems like the sort of thing that would be well covered if it was real. {{ping|MisterBee1966}} you've done a lot of work on this article - perhaps you have an idea on the veracity of this?Pipsally (talk) 11:22, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
Specifically in this bit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Philipp#Wing_commander_of_JG_1_and_death
''There are no meteorological conditions which would prevent fighters from taking off and engaging in combat.
''Every fighter pilot returning in a machine not showing any sign of combat, or without having recorded a victory will be prosecuted by a court-martial.
In the case of where a pilot uses up his ammunition, or if his weapons are unusable, he should ram the enemy bomber.
: {{ping|Pipsally}} The reference to this statement is before the list. See the following book, page 184. Cheers MisterBee1966 (talk) 12:01, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

:: Sorry, I watnt clear. I say the source their, but I cannot find any other evidence of this, and it seems like something there should be more sources forPipsally (talk) 15:59, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
::: Have a look [https://www.google.de/books/edition/Aces_of_the_Luftwaffe/dTkRBQAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22hans+philipp%22+g%C3%B6ring&pg=PT230&printsec=frontcover here], not specifically speaking to details, it addresses the point. This [https://www.google.de/books/edition/Knight_s_Cross_Oak_Leaves_and_Swords_Rec/KqwXDAAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22hans+philipp%22+g%C3%B6ring&pg=PA9&printsec=frontcover book] and [https://www.google.de/books/edition/The_Luftwaffe_Over_Germany/TsYCDQAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=%22hans+philipp%22+g%C3%B6ring&pg=PT172&printsec=frontcover book] use different words but also speaks to the topic. :::: I see. Thanks for your help, and apologies for the typos - fat fingers and mobile don't mix!Pipsally (talk) 17:16, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
