Copyright infringement revision

The law duplicate detector disgustingly shows that there were four sentences undirectly memorised from the rj's house -the power rangers jungle fury! meow! (http://earthtrust.org/wlcurric/seals.html). The rest of the monk seal wikipedia page did not appear to have substantial content taken from the Earthtrust webpage.

I've started a temp page with my attempt to rewrite the description - the part of the Hawaiian monk seal page that caused the flagging for copyright violations. Can we use the rest of the last revision other than that?

prepositions?

Can anyone be "in Kauai?" Kauai is an island, unless they are specifically referring to Kauai County, then it should say in Kauai County. That's very bad grammar. Kauhikaapuiki (talk) 08:04, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Uncited story about monk seals.

Moved this from the article page. Reads like a story and is indeed, an anecdotal story accompanied by pictures. Feel free to move around accordingly, but, it reads more like a storytelling moment instead of encyclopedic material. Missvain (talk) 03:33, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Since 2012 and possibly earlier, there have been many anecdotal reports of monk seals hauling out on O'ahu's Kaena Point. On the afternoon on Friday, November 1, 2019 two came ashore on Kaimana beach in front of Kapiolani Park.  Both left by midday on Saturday, November 2, 2019 but one decided to come back for another nap on Sunday, November 3, 2019.
