Lead sentence questionable

Re: "Headquarters was the third album issued by The Monkees and the first written and recorded primarily by the four members of the group, rather than by session musicians and professional songwriters.":

According to the article itself, the album had fourteen songs, six written by Monkees, one co-written by one of the Monkees. "Written...primarily" would logically have to mean most of the songs were by the Monkees, at least eight, rather than six and a half. "Recorded" is ambiguous, but in context appears to mean that the instruments were primarily played by the Monkees. According to the article itself, bass guitar on all tracks was played by session musicians and six session musicians were used altogether (outnumbering Monkees by two). On the other hand, all drum and keyboard parts appear to have been played by Monkees. Davy Jones's instrumental contributions appear to be extremely meager. Hard to measure this precisely, but it seems to me pretty much a tie and thus not "primarily" Monkees playing. In any case, I think it would be more honest for the article to say something like, "Headquarters was the third album issued by The Monkees and the first with substantial songwriting and instrumental performances by members of the group itself, rather than by session musicians and professional songwriters.TheScotch (talk) 23:23, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

:You are probably right. What is worse, though, is the abominable "session information" section, which is barely readable, especially once one gets to "Zilch". Huw Powell (talk) 06:08, 15 July 2012 (UTC)

Psycho Jello

Would it be relevant to add information on Peter Tork's lyric "What, are you kidding

me? Psycho-Jello"? -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 04:43, 5 August 2014 (UTC)

Genre

How is this album psychedelic? There are no psychedelic songs on this album, with the possible exception of "Early Morning Blues and Greens". ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 05:49, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
