It's possible that style of the excerpt, quoted below is a bit too informal; and also that references supporting the overall entry, rely excessively on the popular and trade press, as opposed to refereed journals. While none of the assertions made in the article seem unsupported, the article does emphasize the contemporary, where as the hot press technique itself is over two centuries old.
