Lions Club International

She was an amazing person who dedicated her life to others! It is sad that there is no mention of her addressing the delegates of Lions Clubs International in 1925 at Cedar Point Ohio, Challenging Them to become Knights of The Blind, Which became the First and foremost Pillar of Service for one of the now Largest Community Service Organizations in the world! Who's Thomson

There's a person named Thomson the Wikipedia never said who he is and how Helen Keller knows him. Here's where it it mentioned him.

"Anne Sullivan died in 1936, with Keller holding her hand,[36] after falling into a coma as a result of coronary thrombosis.[37]: 266  Keller and Thomson moved to Connecticut. They traveled worldwide and raised funds for the blind. Thomson had a stroke in 1957 from which she never fully recovered and died in 1960. Winnie Corbally, a nurse originally hired to care for Thomson in 1957, stayed on after Thomson's death and was Keller's companion for the rest of her life."[34]

This is in Paragraph 3 under Companions. 75.177.103.180 (talk) 19:49, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

[I found more about him in the first paragraph sorry it missed it no need to worry about this]Italic text — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.177.103.180 (talk) 19:51, 20 March 2024 (UTC)

Should this mention conspiracy theories about her?

Eg [https://skeptoid.com/episodes/4937?utm_source=skeptoid&utm_campaign=companion_email&utm_content=current_episode_textlink&utm_medium=email] and [https://www.theguardian.com/books/2021/jan/07/helen-keller-why-is-a-tiktok-conspiracy-theory-undermining-her-story] Doug Weller talk 11:48, 23 May 2024 (UTC)

:Per WP:DUE, I'd argue against inclusion. Those conspiracy theories float around, but are completely insignificant to her legacy & non-encyclopedic. Including them gives them more weight than they deserve. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 13:47, 23 May 2024 (UTC)

:WP:ONEWAY is also relevant. --Hob Gadling (talk) 11:59, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

Helen Keller International

May I add https://helenkellerintl.org/ to the external links? According to the edit source, additions or replacements should be proposed in the Talk page. Magnesium77 (talk) 05:30, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

:Our article Helen Keller International is already in the See Also section, and the link is on that page. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 11:29, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

::I appreciate the clarification. I assume adding it to both sections would be superfluous? I was the one who added it to the See also section. Magnesium77 (talk) 13:10, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

:::Right, adding it to both sections would be unnecessary. If folks really want to learn more about the org, they can click through to our article and the link is right there. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 14:03, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

::::Good point. Thank you so much! Magnesium77 (talk) 15:23, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
