Assessment

I'd consider this article "stub" class, because it does not have any "Plot synopsis" section. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 20:05, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

:Okay, I see your point and I've changed it back for now. I've actually been trying to come up with a plot synopsis myself, but I'm not having much luck with it. I can't find much out there beyond one sentence descriptions of the show, and I've only heard a couple of the songs so I can't really pull the story from that either. There's plenty on the movie, but I know there are bound to be some differences between the versions, so I really don't want to go with one of those. —Mears man (talk) 21:33, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Ben Brantley deletion - Conflict of Interest

There's an editor, {{user|Newchaz64}}, who happens to be Scott Miller, the artistic director of New Line Theatre - see Talk:Johnny Appleweed - [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Johnny_Appleweed&oldid=225135622].

He doubled the size of this article, mainly by posting the favourable parts of a number of reviews his production of the musical garnered. I've removed all of that per WP:COI

However his modus operandi extends further than this: in this article and in the now deleted The Nervous Set, it was not enough for him to big up his own production: in addition, it appears necessary to him to trash a preceding production by posting the unfavourable bits of reviews or industry gossip.

I do not know whether the Ben Brantley quote should stay or go - I'll leave that to a neutral & knowledgeable party to decide. However I'm fairly certain that it should not stand merely at the behest of Mr. Miller for the presumed purpose of reflecting additional credit on his own production. --Tagishsimon (talk) 02:41, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
