I understand that the PRC military was involved to a certain degree in both the First Indochina War and the Vietnam War(see Vietnam War#People's Republic of China). If someone who's more knowledgeable on this could pitch in and add a section on it it would greatly benefit this article. Capt Jim (talk) 17:24, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

This article desperately needs additional references and much of the content requires in-line citations in order to meet Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. A cursory glance shows many of the sections have absolutely no in-line citations, which brings into question the factual accuracy of the information presented. The further reading section may include sources which can back up the text. I will do my best over the next few days to add references and citations where possible but this article may need a complete re-write to meet Wikipedia's standards.
