Howard Bloom

If I find the time, I am going to correct this page, because I have been talking to Howard Bloom about it. This clearly violates Wikipedia's "No Original Research" policy. WTF?

Harold Bloom

An editor added a detail about Howard Bloom being "a Gnostic Jew for reasons he describes as "partly polemical". The source is for a different person: Harold Bloom and so has been removed. I wonder if a disambiguation notice is needed at the top to warn of confusion between the two similar named individuals?--LittleHow (talk) 07:28, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

:There was a disambig notice on the old, deleted version so I've re-added it. Possible confusion with Howard Blum is also at issue. --Bigtimepeace | talk | contribs 07:20, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

::This guy seems like a nobody, and this page appears to be written by him or his publicist. Has he ever done anything other than promote himself? I nominate it for a speedy deletion.Arlesd (talk) 07:00, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

Aleksey Vayner syndrome?

From [http://itc.conversationsnetwork.org/shows/detail3836.html]: Howard Bloom has been called "the Darwin, Einstein, Newton, and Freud of the 21st Century" by Britain's Channel4 TV and "the next Stephen Hawking" by Gear Magazine. Christopher Boehm, the director of the Jane Goodall Research Institute says, "Howard Bloom should be taking notes on what he's doing every minute of the day. He is single-handedly creating a scientific revolution.". For a guy with a resume like this it seems odd that there's so few reliable sources anywhere describing his incredible qualities. Honestly, what's the notability of this article? [http://www.youtube.com/user/TheAmazingAtheist The Amazing Atheist] is generating him more publicity on the net than his own work has ever created in the academia or elsewhere. --piksi (talk) 13:58, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

Views on Islam

From what I've heard and read about Howard Bloom, he has very antagonistic/critical views towards Islam. This is probably what the "Views on Islam" section should reflect; however, there is little mention of his opinions on Islam in the current state of the article.
