Sections and Images

This could be split into more coherent sections. Anybody else think this also needs more images? Sicanjal 09:38, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

Episode References

It needs to be made clear from which episodes the information comes from. For example, say "We know this (episode name)".

--Elín 19:58, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

:Uhm, I know there's still quite a bit of info that isn't even referenced, but a lot IS already. Kusonaga 02:24, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Clearer image

Would it be possible to alter the current (very dark) TV still image so that it's easier to see, or should it be replaced by a different image? B7T (talk) 01:56, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

To clarify that last remark, I am wondering if it is considered "fair use" to digitally alter the current image so that it's easier to see (and upload that to replace the current version), or if a different, better, image should be found for this article. B7T (talk) 02:01, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

:I think it would be esier just to replace the image, personally. RC-0722 communicator/kills 02:02, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Purple Heart?

The description of Murdoch states that he as been wounded twice, but his personal commendations does not include the Purple Heart? Is this a mistake by the show, or in the page? 31.209.55.158 (talk) 21:37, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

----

:H. M. Murdock → {{no redirect|Howling Mad Murdock}} – Very little sources use the current name: [http://books.google.com/books?id=xIPw0F6QWlYC&lpg=PA192&dq=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&pg=PA192#v=onepage&q=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&f=false]. If you prefer natural disambiguation, the character's name should be spelled out, not initialized. When the 2009 movie came out, either "Murdock" or "Howling Mad Murdock" was widely used: [http://books.google.com/books?id=Dc0TF0GHAmAC&printsec=frontcover][http://books.google.com/books?id=ZDv3dW9ecCAC&printsec=frontcover][http://books.google.com/books?id=CF8AjVJXvH0C&pg=PA86&dq=murdock+%22the+a-team%22&hl=en&sa=X&ei=dY-jUsO0L8b0oASVtoHoDg&ved=0CEAQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&f=false][http://books.google.com/books?id=IRog-mvSMR8C&lpg=PA6&dq=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&pg=PA6#v=onepage&q=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&f=false]. Well, others just use "Murdock": (old sources) [http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=uFdIAAAAIBAJ&sjid=hxUEAAAAIBAJ&dq=murdock%20the-a-team&pg=5985%2C3124806][http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=BnUzAAAAIBAJ&sjid=T-8DAAAAIBAJ&dq=murdock%20the-a-team&pg=6928%2C6665620][http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=X0w1AAAAIBAJ&sjid=TaYLAAAAIBAJ&dq=murdock%20the-a-team&pg=4192%2C6342219]; (newer): [http://content.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1996296,00.html][http://arts.nationalpost.com/2010/06/17/popcorn-panel-the-a-team/][http://www.denofgeek.us/movies/oldboy/231193/sharlto-copley-talks-oldboy-and-his-darkest-role][http://www.zdnet.com/senate-bill-protects-your-right-to-binge-watch-netflix-and-kitten-videos-7000023151/][http://books.google.com/books?id=0bCxW4fs_BwC&lpg=PA1&dq=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&pg=PA1#v=onepage&q=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&f=false][http://books.google.com/books?id=pTgVVEn7wbMC&lpg=PA107&dq=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&pg=PA107#v=onepage&q=murdock%20%22the%20a-team%22&f=false]. Therefore, Murdock (The A-Team) may be the other option, unless many object using parenthetical disambiguation. Alternative would be either H. M. Howling Mad Murdock or H. M. "Howling Mad" Murdock, but I am not fond of putting initials and spelled-out names together. George Ho (talk) 21:50, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

  • Support, pretty straightforward. bd2412 T 19:49, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
  • Support, sources favour the move, but moreso per WP:CRITERIA this wins on recognizability In ictu oculi (talk) 00:13, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
