The population is difering between the english and the german wiki. Does anyone know the correct number --Stefan da 20:32, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

If the phrase "second-largest city" is taken to mean population (and I see no reason to believe it means size, or anything else), then it looks to me like there are still several cities in line ahead of Ilorin, notably Kano, Abuja, and Ibadan, with which it can't begin to compete. I [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ilorin&diff=297755390&oldid=297753776 removed] claims that the Saraki Family controls the state through vote buying. I don't believe controversial claims such as that should be reported in the article without following WP:CITE.
