May 2024 research conducted at Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City
In regards to a [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Immigration_to_the_United_States&diff=1246819790&oldid=1243086293 recent edit], the author of [https://www.kansascityfed.org/research/economic-bulletin/rising-immigration-has-helped-cool-an-overheated-labor-market/ the study] is an economist named Elior Cohen. Is the author well known or is the report significant in terms of coverage as it relates to Immigration to the United States. Is there some explanation as to why this is DUE? Disambiguation for JFK book
The term "nation of immigrants" redirects here, which I have no issue with. But we also have a similarly named article about A Nation of Immigrants, a 1958 book written by John F. Kennedy, so a hatnote is probably in order for this article. I'm an IP and this article is locked, so I can't edit this, but it would be nice if someone could add the following to the top of the article:
{{Redirect|Nation of immigrants|the 1958 book by John F. Kennedy|A Nation of Immigrants}}
Thank you in advance. 188.176.168.141 (talk) 06:18, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
Immigration / Emigration
This article should be called 'Emigration to the United States'. In my understanding of English one immigrates FROM somewhere and emigrates TO somewhere.92.23.108.234 (talk) 22:49, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
:No, no, "immigration" is right. A person who moves from (for example) France to the United States is an emigrant from France and an immigrant to the United States. 80.62.117.219 (talk) 16:49, 27 March 2025 (UTC)
