| quote = It’s also unclear which outlets get the “i” icon, and which do not. For example, InfoWars, a media company that is a well-known purveyor of conspiracy theories, does not appear to have the icon on its posts. That means the user would have to leave Facebook to determine the source’s trustworthiness, which defeats the purpose of the feature. Other right-wing conspiracy sites, like Gateway Pundit, also do not have an “i” icon. Both of these sites have Wikipedia pages.

Is there a reason why the website isn't linked in the infobx and there's only an archive link in the external links section? Maxeto0910 (talk) 23:26, 31 May 2025 (UTC)

:{{ping|Maxeto0910}} WP:ELMatrix(!) ping onewhen replying {u - t? - uselessc} 20:15, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

::@Maxeto0910 specifically (because linking to a giant policy without further explanation isn't helpful) see WP:ELNEVER. Infowars is on the Wikipedia spam blacklist, meaning edits containing links to the site are not saved. 9yz (talk) 05:36, 9 June 2025 (UTC)

:::For references, this absolutely makes sense. However, there should be an exception for linking the homepage in its own article. Maxeto0910 (talk) 09:33, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
