One of the most developed countries in the world

In the Ba'athist section of the history. This seems like a little bit of hyperbole to me. 24.83.43.158 (talk) 00:55, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

:I've removed this claim. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:05, 20 February 2025 (UTC)

typo

'The conflict, known as the Iraq War, it ended in 2011' should be 'The conflict, known as the Iraq War, ended in 2011' 185.127.206.11 (talk) 11:34, 15 April 2025 (UTC)

Jews as a religious minority

The article claims "Most Iraqis are Muslim, with significant minorities include (...) Jews.

The article further claims a few hundred Jews live in Iraq in the Demographics section, which is outdated, as in 2021 officially only 4 Jews remain in the country.

The article should update the demographic number, and either remove Jews as a significant minority, or add Jews as a historical minority. 74.57.24.26 (talk) 18:27, 26 April 2025 (UTC)

:What is your source for that update? Nikkimaria (talk) 04:17, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

:"As of 2021" news are not verified. There are many local sources saying Jews (1,000s in Kurdistan and around 100s in Baghdad) exists in Iraq. Those reports saying less number of Jews in Iraq are just Zionist narratives. It is highly possible that many Jews hide their identity due to security situation. As of 2025, a news report came of Jews in Baghdad funding for renovation of their shrine in Baghdad. How that can happen when Jews are marginalized and less. It can be less but not less than 10. Thousands of Jews live in more liberal Kurdistan Region. I can provide you tons of sources saying 100 or more Jews live in iraq. These reports saying 4 or lesser Jews live in Iraq is just a Zionist propaganda narrative. Kharbaan Ghaltaan (talk) 20:26, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
