Talk:JD Vance couch hoax

This page previously redirected to a section of the JD Vance page titled "Public perception," but when I tried to find that section just now, I discovered it no longer exists. Since Vance's page itself no longer covers this topic, I chose to redirect it to the page Hillbilly Elegy, which does still cover it (since the post that started the hoax claimed it was in that book). I don't anticipate this will be an especially controversial change, but if anyone thinks this was inappropriate of me, we can talk about it here. Wehpudicabok (talk) 05:40, 15 September 2024 (UTC)

:@Wehpudicabok Personally, I don't object too strongly, but since the discussion was very recently closed as "wait until the JD Vance RfC closes", I'm pinging participants in that discussion here to see if the retarget is uncontroversial. I assume the redirect will be renominated when the RfC closes. Noting that this retarget was proposed in the RfD discussion.
