Talk:Jack Abramoff/AbramoffRefactor
Early Years
Awesome start at a re-write. Excellent. In the meantime, as you asked for edits, I jumped right in. I hope you agree with it. Sholom 22:55, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
:Thanks much, yes, I simply copied and pasted the first few paragraphs of Jack Abramoff since they seemed 'good enough', but I knew there was some extraneous stuff there... thanks for the help... -Kwh
:: 'Phew!' I'm so glad we agree. (I was hoping you included b/c of cut-n-paste as you described!) I'd love to help work on this, but I don't have the energy to work on it with somebody I disagree with. And, it seems, the last two comments I've made (this, and removal of lists of recipients of donations, etc., ) you've agreed with me on both. Great. There's one other guy, who seems very reasonable on Abramoff issues and would be good to specifically enlist for this re-write, his name is Common Man. If you agree, I'd suggest that one of us drop him a note inviting him specifically to work on this. What do you think?
Rewrite
Note: Please focus on expanding this rewrite with more well-written information. It can eventually be split down and summarized but the full scale of Abramoff's various imbroglios can only be seen and understood in how they are interlinked. (e.g. Abramoff lobbied against Jena Choctaw on behalf of both LA Coushatta (whose casino business they threatened) and on behalf of MS Choctaw (who opposed recognition for their Choctaw cousins).-Kwh 04:45, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
So Far So Good
It's not an encyclopedia page yet but still better than a magazine article and for all I could tell Abramoff is no more a member of the Elders Of Zion than he is an outer Pongolian Mongrel of Kakatoonian decent.
