Introduction

I recently have come into the possession of a 1980's, First Edition copy of Jazz, published in the United States. There is an introduction, by a woman whose name I am forgetting right now, that is very interesting and relevant to the art. I was wondering if it would be a good idea, as well as a legal one, to copy that introduction into this article, while not forgetting to source it. There are also translations by a Ms. Hawkes, I believe, of Matisse's writings in the collection. Would those also be appreciated and/or would the actual writings of Matisse in French (though that would be somewhat problematic because it is sometimes hard to read Matisse's handwriting) be appreciated more? I think it would greatly add to the article. Thanks! Helixer (talk) 03:31, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Bias

This article has no references, and perhaps as a result ends up appearing very biased. I've toned down a bit of the grandeur, but the article needs to be edited and referenced so that it doesn't read like a press release or fan page for the book or the artist. -- Mikeblas (talk) 14:18, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
