Orphaned references in [[:Jean Christophe Iseux von Pfetten]]
I check pages listed in :Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of :Jean Christophe Iseux von Pfetten's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "ReferenceA":
- From Nanjing: John E. Woods, The Good Man of Nanking, the Diaries of John Rabe, 1998 P. 275-278
- From Apethorpe Palace: {{cite web|url=http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/daysout/properties/apethorpe-palace/apethorpe-future-secured/ |title=Archived copy |accessdate=January 9, 2015 |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20150106143612/http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/daysout/properties/apethorpe-palace/apethorpe-future-secured/ |archivedate=January 6, 2015 }}
- From Bob Hawke: Whitlam, Wran and the Labor tradition: Labor history essays, volume two By Gough Whitlam, Australian Labor Party, New South Wales Branch
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 16:12, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
Conflict of interest
The tone of this article is overwhelmingly positive. It has been edited by a high number of IPs, and single-purpose, or near single-purpose, accounts which have also edited other connected articles, in particular, Apethorpe Palace and the Institute for East West Strategic Studies. The most obvious are User:Baronpfetten and User:Prinkipo71. The connections are similarly obvious, in that Jean Christophe Iseux von Pfetten is the founder and chair of the Institute, which operates from his house, Apethorpe. I’m not seeing any Conflict of interest declarations on either users’ Talkpages. I think the article needs a review for tone and neutrality. KJP1 (talk) 17:41, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
Educational Background
The citation that previously substantiated von Pfetten's educational background was unrelated and thus removed. I left a {{cn}} tag and looked for a source myself, but am having trouble finding ones substantiating the claims. For one, this (https://www.chamber.org.hk/wsc/speakers/jeanISEUX.pdf) result does not mention his supposed Master of Philosophy or Master of Political Science. Since there is talk of embellishment/conflict of interest in this article I think this is an important source to find. Muskallonge (talk) 04:15, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
