Birth Date Discrepancy

The New York Times obituary says Weidman was born 14 April 1913. The Independent and other sources say 4 April 1913. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joseph Hewes (talkcontribs) 06:42, 22 July 2009 (UTC)

:Yes, NY Times appear to be a typo. User:CactusWriter needles 07:44, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Missing book

Is this not the Jerome Weidman who wrote the tale of boyhood in 1920s NYC entitled Fourth Street East?

Alaistar Cook`s rave review

In one of his famous Letters from America, the great Alastair Cook gave a rave review of Weidman`s life-work, which (in the high/middle brow press and academia, etc.) seems to be still very very much undervalued.--217.88.63.106 (talk) 16:08, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
