About "Japanese American"
Why is he referred to in the opening line as "a Japanese American" pianist if he was born in California, and not an immigrant? I don't see Americans of European descent described as "Italian American" except in following paragraphs that go into the parents' ancestry. Also why is this part of Wiki Project Japan? Does that cover all descendants of Japanese ancestors for generations? Sorry but I'm changing the opening line. Bruxism (talk) 05:09, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
