Wrong year for adidas deal

Under legacy, it errorneously states 1978, and an article from SI is used as a citation. It is wrong, while many sources may also state 1971 as thw year the deal was signed, it was actually 1972, and was part of the adidas rebrand of that year that included the introduction of the Trefoil logo. Two correct articles can be cited here

Given a black belt by Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee before he died gave Kareem a black belt for his exceptional marital arts skills. 2600:1015:A005:3806:E9:647A:729D:2446 (talk) 08:56, 4 January 2025 (UTC)

Lew Alcindor attended Power Memorial, which was a private Catholic high school, not a parochial one. (Ergo: change 'parochial' to private, as Power was independent, not part of a parish.) SallieJParker (talk) 14:59, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

Diminishment of his writing career

Recommend deleting the sentence "He published several books, mostly on African-American history." In fact, at this point he has published more than 20 books (exact number depends on what counts as a "book," such as translations) but "several" doesn't quite do it. Also, they are about a wide range of topics. 24.163.137.125 (talk) 16:18, 23 May 2025 (UTC)

:The source says: {{tqq|But here are the statistics that, in my book, give Abdul-Jabbar the edge: several books published, books that mostly deal with African-American history.}} Outright deletion is worse. Feel free to offer a sourced alternative. —Bagumba (talk) 16:55, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
