Libretto/response

This page would seriously benefit from some kind of critical review of the libretto or critical response to the performance, or something similar. NobutoraTakeda 21:39, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Requested move 22 June 2025

{{requested move/dated|King Roger (opera)}}

:King Roger → {{no redirect|King Roger (opera)}} – I see no indication in [https://www.google.si/search?tbm=bks&hl=en&q=%22King+Roger%22 Google Books] or [https://www.google.si/search?q=%22King+Roger%22&sca_esv=70c4004f48b74267&hl=en&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjL1OuZ6ISOAxVMgf0HHbvyFecQ0pQJegQIAhAD&biw=1536&bih=738&dpr=1.25 Google] that the opera is the primary meaning. On the contrary, the primary meaning appears to be Roger II of Sicily. Given that the opera was named after the king, it would be unusual if the opera were the primary meaning. At the very least King Roger should be a disambiguation page; but I believe a redirect to Roger II of Sicily is more appropriate. Surtsicna (talk) 10:31, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

  • Support per nom; disambiguate the base name -- 65.93.183.249 (talk) 22:43, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
  • Support per nom; disambiguate the base name: Roger II, Roger III and an opera. No need to add another hatnote. Srnec (talk) 01:44, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
