– Per WP:DPT, let's examine if there's a primary topic here. By usage, the topic of most interest by readers is absolutely not the electoral district: [https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/massviews/?platform=all-access&agent=user&source=wikilinks&range=all-time&sort=views&direction=1&view=list&target=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kluane%20(disambiguation) All-time mass views for all items], [https://pageviews.wmcloud.org/?project=en.wikipedia.org&platform=all-access&agent=user&redirects=0&start=2015-07&end=2025-04&pages=Kluane%7CKluane_National_Park_and_Reserve%7CKluane_Lake%7CKluane_First_Nation All-time monthly page views for the most popular topics] A number of topics attract significantly more reader interest.
Likewise, the meta:Research:Wikipedia clickstream archive for the last year shows zero clickstreams for Kluane, meaning the electoral district article is a dead end for navigation.
I don't see the long-term significance argument in favor of an electoral district founded in 1974 when it's actually 2 years younger than the national park, and only has 1k electors.
With regard to the arguments in Talk:Kluane (disambiguation)#Requested move 25 September 2020, I disagree with Lithopsian's claim that if a national park is called X National Park, that we have to prove that people are referring to the park as X. This is just common sense, and counter examples include Yellowstone, Banff, Yosemite, Yoho, Kootenay, etc. The only odd example that I could quickly find in this regard is Jasper, but there's a wholly different primary topic there (not related to places) and the NP is listed on Jasper (disambiguation) and indeed it appears in [https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Jasper_%28disambiguation%29 WikiNav from there].
This suffix would match 5 other articles in :Category:Yukon territorial electoral districts. Joy (talk) 20:30, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support 1, oppose 2. Redirect Kluane to Kluane National Park. Current situation is nonsensical. 162 etc. (talk) 20:44, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
- :I was thinking about that as well, but decided to err on the side of caution and propose a more conservative solution instead. There's an obvious long-term significance argument to be made about the lake and the people, and Banff, Yoho and Kootenay are all fully disambiguated (they don't redirect to the park articles). --Joy (talk) 22:43, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. There are five entries listed upon the Kluane (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the prominence of the electoral district overshadows the combined notability of the remaining four entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 04:33, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
