You should include and discuss more on aircraft bird strike as one of the popular applications of this software. Aircraft are required to withstand impact with a 4lb bird under FAA regulations. Analysis is being used increasingly to augment and even replace test.
Article revision
It looks like this article needs quite a bit of work. Most of the information is given in list form, which isn't really suitable. I'd like to start reformatting the article and adding images for clarification. Input would be appreciated. Tevonic (talk) 17:55, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
Just mentioned in applications that LSDYNA is used to model heart valves because that's what I use it for. Pendodecahedron 14:55, 20 August 2011
Point of View
The opening paragraph reads like an advertisement and should be changed to a more neutral POV (especially the second sentence) 128.36.108.34 (talk) 22:52, 23 June 2010 (UTC)FAA
External links modified
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to {{plural:1|one external link|1 external links}} on LS-DYNA. Please take a moment to review [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=712787311 my edit]. You may add {{tlx|cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{tlx|nobots|deny{{=}}InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:
- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://people.oregonstate.edu/~nimmalas/research/compDNL/comparisonOfDNL.doc
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{tlx|Sourcecheck}}).

Update Link to Ansys's Website
{{edit COI|ans=y}}
Hi all,
The link for "website" in the infobox points to http://lsdyna.ansys.com. This link redirects to https://lsdyna.ansys.com. Can we therefore update the link — specifically, add the "s" to "http"?
Even though this seems to be an "uncontroversial" edit, given my conflict of interest, I'd prefer that an independent editor either approve it or implement it.
Thank you.
Signed,
