She Saved My Life

Back in the 1970's, I met Lalomie at a party. We became fast friends. My life was falling apart, and had it not been for her telling me to do something drastic like joining the service, I don't know how my life would've turned out. I trusted her; I believed her. 30-something years later, I was in Omaha when she was doing a show on 24th & Lake. She didn't recognize me, but I got to thank her for saving my life. I told her that I did what she told me to do, and she gave me one of the most heartfelt hugs I've ever had. Rest In Power, dear Lalomie! RayFox57 (talk) 09:44, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
