  • US 24
  • Washington Boulevard / State Avenue (old US 24/40/73)
  • US 73
  • K-7 ([http://www.kslegislature.org/li_2012/b2011_12/statute/068_000_0000_chapter/068_010_0000_article/068_010_0020_section/068_010_0020_k/ all the way to the state line][http://www.aaroads.com/shields/show.php?image=KS19670152&view=4], though signage is lacking: there's a sign for a historical site in White Cloud, and there used to be [http://www.flickr.com/photos/richiekennedy56/9774106331/ a sign on K-136] (former K-7))
  • US 73 ([http://www.transportation.nebraska.gov/docs/lewis&clark.pdf from the state line])

  • SD 63
  • SD 20
  • SD 1806

Several routes are signed in the area between Mandan and ND 200 Alt.:

;east bank

;Single route

The two sides combine at East Fairview.

  • ND 200
  • (it's poorly signed in Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon)
  • MT 200 (all the way to Missoula? reassurance at Flowing Well, Jordan, Vaughn, Bonner)
  • (how does it get through Missoula?)
  • US 12 (MT) (reassurance at Earl Tennant Campground)
  • US 12 (ID) (reassurance westbound in Lewiston at 21st Street)
  • US 12 (WA) (also signed along SR 124 - there is at least one sign on US 12 between US 730 and SR 124, so it doesn't split permanently at Waitsburg)
  • US 395
  • SR 14
  • I-5 (may not be signed)
  • SR 4
  • SR 401
  • US 101 (the WSDOT map also shows it using SR 4 to US 101 and going up SR 103, but I can't find any signs)
  • SR 100 (west side of loop)

;Oregon route

  • US 730 (presumably)
  • US 30 (all the way? there's at least one reassurance sign eastbound at about I-84 mile 122.2)
  • (where does it end? Astoria? Fort Clatsop?)

;Other bridges with signs

It seems to have been designated in the 1960s: {{oclc|3333876}} http://publishing.cdlib.org/ucpressebooks/view?docId=kt4q2nc6k3&chunk.id=pt03 --NE2 03:11, 21 June 2014 (UTC)

:The list above could use some cleanup. I will make a partial attempt below.

Montana

The [http://leg.mt.gov/bills/mca/60/1/60-1-202.htm "Lewis and Clark Highway"] is defined to follow US 12 through Montana, despite this being nowhere near [http://www.montanalewisandclark.org/whatsnew/lewis_and_clark_trail_300.pdf the actual route L&C took] (except west of Missoula). --NE2 00:40, 24 June 2014 (UTC)

Missouri

Google Street View searches and others claim that it's on parts of Missouri Route 87, Missouri Route 98, Missouri Route 5 and Missouri Route 179. How does it keep jumping over all these places? It's like there's no clear map anywhere in the "Show-Me State." ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:13, 30 April 2017 (UTC)
