Does LDAP really store password - or only hashes???
As of today, the article contains in the introduction "A common use of LDAP is to provide a central place to store usernames and passwords." That would be bad practice.
I assume that an LDAP server only stores salted hashes (current best practice). Am I correct?— Wrev (talk) 12:41, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
