Talk:Lingual papilla

A merge has been proposed from these articles:

• Vallate papilla
• Fungiform papilla
• Filiform papilla
• Foliate papilla

For these reasons:

• These articles use a range of similar images.
• All articles are stubs
• Aggregated, it would be possible to talk about pathologies which affect all four articles.

With the exception of 'filiform papillae', these articles have a significant overlap in content. These articles could be merged, with taste bud being mentioned in the lead of the article, or in a separate society & culture section, or both. Would value the opinion of other users on this.
