Criteria for inclusion

You may not believe this, but to have (with 1 exception) english language sources for german language philosophy looks pretty incompetent? I have to admit, that your list is o.k., while german wikipedia' s Liste der zeitgenössischen Philosophen is pretty awful

Some more names, all people who (are Professoren, also good, solid writers and also) have been prominent also in the papers: Jürgen Mittelstraß, Manfred Frank, Niklas Luhmann (1927- 1998), Max Bense (1910- 1990) (a bit out of fashion, but with a new good collected works)--Radh (talk) 06:45, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Why the hyphen?

Why has this article been moved to German -language with the hyphen? Acceptable usage of "German language" in a sentence or title does not include a hyphen. This is nonsense. I move that the list needs to be reverted to the original page. Amerindianarts (talk) 06:24, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

:I wasn't involved in this, er, hyphenation, but it seems appropriate, as "German-language" is working here as a compound adjective. WP:HYPHEN doesn't advocate hyphenation in these circumstances quite as strongly as some style guides, but it does support this usage. Best wishes! GreenGourd (talk) 14:31, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

::Thanks. The article also had the hyphen when it was not used as a compound adjective which confounded the reason for the hyphen. It appears all the hyphenating must have taken place after all the major work we did on it prior to 2006. Amerindianarts (talk) 03:13, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
