Reformatting for easier usage readability

I wanted to propose a reformat of this page. I think that if the page were broken up into sections of 10 interstates and their respective auxilliary routes. for instance all single digit interstates 1 thru 9, then tens interstates 10 thru 19, etc

Not only would that revise the Table of Contents to a more navigable format by simplifying it it will also break up the page into more manageable sections for future editing.--S dog100 (talk) 21:05, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Can't fix

Why can't I fix the column for I-375 Business? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 15:06, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

:It was missing a |- to start the new row on the table. [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_business_routes_of_the_Interstate_Highway_System&diff=583409586&oldid=578475185 This edit] fixed that. Imzadi 1979  17:30, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

Missing Routes

This page is missing several routes, such as the I-385 business spur. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The Carolina Alliance (talkcontribs) 20:54, 14 December 2014 (UTC)

What order?

In what order are these entries supposed to appear? Some are in geographic (west-to-east, south-to-north) order. Some are in reverse geographic order (I-75 is north-to-south), and some are alphabetical (I-69 has Charlotte before Coldwater, but geographically Coldwater would be first as it is further south). I suggest that we decide on which order will be used. I suggest geographic order, west-to-east or south-to-north. Imzadi 1979  23:14, 29 May 2015 (UTC)

:I think alphabetical by disambiguator, separated by state, is the most logical sorting. Most of our readers do not necessarily know the geographic order that the routes go, but they could easily figure out A, B, C. On that note, I think this table format is tired. I don't know if the {{tlx|Routelist row}} format is any better. I'd like to see a bulleted list format like so:

Interstate 5

;California

{{columns-list|colwidth=20em|

:Arbuckle loop

:Cottonwood loop

...

:Obviously, we'd switch out loop for spur or downtown loop/spur where necessary. And we'd also need to figure out a way to effectively mark former routes, but those are relatively easy to figure out. –Fredddie 21:12, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

Undetermined routes

I'm sure there are plenty of people who question the existence of some of these routes, and I'm no exception to that. Like Interstate 80 Business (Pine Bluffs, Wyoming); I see no evidence that the route exists, or has existed in the past. Also, there's Interstate 95 Business (Mystic, Connecticut); I actually don't find it hard to believe such a route existed, but proof is always welcome. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 15:35, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
